Only four matches are scheduled to be played in round 11 of the NBC Premier League this weekend.
JKT Tanzania are still leading the standings with 13 points from 10 games this season and are guaranteed to remain top after matchday 11. Second place Young Africans SC (Yanga), who are not in action this weekend, are only a point behind the leaders despite playing four games less.
Kinondoni FC remain rooted to the bottom of the table with four points after only managing one win, a 1-0 victory over Dodoma back in September.
We have a look at the four games lined up and offer our betting prediction ahead of the action.

Mtibwa Sugar vs Mbeya City – Sunday, 4pm
Mtibwa have the chance to break into the top five with a home win against 13th place Mbeya. The home team have only lost once in their last five games and sit in seventh place with 10 points.
The visiting Mbeya are on a four-game losing streak ahead of this clash and their seven points leave them in the relegation spots. However, Mbeya have beaten Mtibwa thrice in their last five head-to-head encounters, losing just once.
Prediction – With all that is at stake for both teams on either ends of the table, they are both expected to get a goal.
Both teams scoring or over 1.5 goals are worthy options for this game.
Dodoma Jiji vs Tanzania Prisons – Monday, 7pm
A potentially blistering relegation battle is on the cards as 14th place Prisons travel to 15th place Dodoma. Dodoma are desperate for a win, having not bagged three points since September.
Their dismal run which includes three defeats in their last five, leaves them with only six points from eight games. Dodoma were 3-2 winners the last time these sides met in February.
Prediction – With the increasing pressure on Dodoma, they are tipped to at least avoid defeat here.
The home team to win or draw is the best option for this game.

TRA United vs Kinondoni MC – Tuesday, 4pm
TRA have the chance to climb into the top five on the table with victory against bottom side Kinondoni. The hosts beat Singida 3-1 in their last match, lifting them into 10th with nine points.
Meanwhile, Kinondoni have lost seven of their last eight games, leaving them with just four points from nine games. The visitors are hoping to repeat their 1-0 success against TRA in March.
Historically, this fixture isn’t known to produce goals and this trend is likely to continue.
Prediction – This is expected to be a cagey encounter with the bottom side desperate to avoid yet another defeat.
Under 2.5 goals is a good option.

Namungo vs Coastal Union – Tuesday, 7pm
Only three points separate these two teams ahead of this highly anticipated clash. Namungo are in sixth place with 12 points, while Coastal Union occupy 11th place just one point above the relegation zone.
Both teams have only lost once in their last five games, with Namungo seeking a third consecutive victory. Coastal Union have failed to beat Namungo in their last four attempts, with their last goal against them coming way back in 2023.
Coastal Union are tipped to break their duck and score against their opponents, with both teams scoring providing the best option for this game.
Prediction – Both sides are quite evenly matched in terms of quality in their lineups and it’s destined to be an entertaining encounter.
