The PSL has six hot matches lined up on Wednesday night as Mamelodi Sundowns seek to reclaim top spot with league leaders Orlando Pirates game postponed.

Sundowns have the opportunity to go into the weekend at the top of the table.

At the foot of the table, Magesi and Stellenbosch are also in action as they battle to find a way out of the relegation zone. With the action comes great betting options and we have a look at the best bets ahead of the midweek action.

Siwelele vs Mamelodi Sundowns – 8:30pm

The champions are unbeaten in six ahead of this match and are in second place with 25 points. Newcomers Siwelele are in 12th place with 15 points after a barren draw in their most recent match against Chippa United. This will be the first competitive meeting between these two sides and the record winners boast the advantage going into the game.

Prediction – Sundowns to win @ 1.60 odds

Chippa United vs Kaizer Chiefs – 8:30pm

Chippa are rooted to the bottom of the table with eight points after bagging just one win all season. The hosts are currently on a nine-game winless streak and will not have it easy against a Chiefs side, who have not lost in their last five league outings.

The last match between these two sides ended in a barren draw and Chiefs won the previous leg 2-0. Chippa have the worst defense in the league, conceding a whopping 21 goals already this season.

Prediction – Kaizer Chiefs to win @ 1.85 odds

Stellenbosch vs Polokwane – 8:30pm

Both sides come into the game on a three-game unbeaten run with plenty at stake. Stellies are a spot above relegation in 14th and a win would see them put some distance between them and the bottom sides.

Polokwane are one of the lowest scoring sides in the PSL with nine goals, with a win here taking them into the top five. The visitors have not beaten Stellenbosch in their last five attempts, losing thrice and sharing the spoils in the remaining two.

Prediction – Over 1.5 goals @ 1.72 odds

TS Galaxy vs Marumo Gallants – 8:30pm

Marumo are seeking to extend their three-game unbeaten run and a second consecutive one against Galaxy. Marumo are currently in 11th place with 15 points, five behind sixth place Galaxy.

Galaxy are coming off a barren draw against Polokwane, while Marumo were held to a 1-1 draw by Magesi. Marumo were 2-1 winners away from home the last time these two met.

Prediction – TS Galaxy to win or draw @ 1.25 odds
