This is the first competitive meeting between these two sides and the La Liga outfit boasts a solid advantage. Talavera are on a five-game losing streak ahead of this match, giving Malaga an easier route to the third round. Despite resting most of their regular starting XI, Malaga still have a much stronger squad and are favorites to win.

Antoniano vs Villarreal – Wednesday, 11pm
Villarreal are enjoying a great start to their season as they sit in third place on the La Liga table. They face a fourth tier Antoniano side who have won two of the last five games, losing a similar number. Villarreal thrashed Ciudad de Lucena 6-0 in the last round, while Antoniano fought well to edge Castellon 1-0.

Torrent vs Real Betis – Wednesday, 11pm
Betis feature in yet another unevenly matched game as they travel to Segunda division three side Torrent. The hosts have won just one game in their last five and face a Betis side who are unbeaten in that run. These two sides have not played a competitive match against each other and Betis are tipped as favorites to qualify for the third round.

Leganes vs Albacete – Thursday, 9pm
Leganes host familiar foes Albacete in one of the evenly matched affairs of the competition. The hosts are on a poor run of form in La Liga two, winning once and losing all four of the remaining games in their last five. Albacete on the other hand have won twice, but lost the remaining three in that run. Both teams were big winners in the last round and need to keep up that pace on Thursday night.

Zaragoza vs Burgos – Thursday, 11pm
Two teams from the second division lock horns in a potentially explosive cup game. Zaragoza are on a three-game winning streak, having lost the two games prior. Burgos on the other hand have lost two of their last games ahead of this match and are desperate to bounce back to wining ways. Zaragoza have not beaten Burgos in any of their last head to head encounters, losing four times and sharing the spoils in the others.
