Serie A leaders Inter are out to extend their stay at the top of the standings with a positive result against Roma on Sunday night.
Inter maintain their lead atop the Serie A table with 69 points, six clear of their closest challengers and eternal rivals AC Milan. While Roma are in sixth with 54 points ahead of this clash.
The international break came at a good time for both teams, who have been on a rather inconsistent run of form in recent weeks. Inter are without a win in four matches, coming off consecutive 1-1 draws against Atalanta and Fiorentina.
The visiting Roma edged Lecce 1-0 in their last outing, their only win in their last six matches in all competitions. Teenage forward Robinio Vaz was on target with his first senior goal for the club.
Ange Bonny was on target with the only goal of the game when Inter edged Roma 1-0 in the reverse fixture last October. Can Roma get their revenge here and make it back-to-back league wins since the first week of January?

Team news
Yann Biseck has been ruled out for the hosts because of an injury, but they could be boosted by the return of top scorer Lautaro Martinez after a brief stint on the sidelines.
Marcus Thuram is tipped to start up front, with Francesco Pio Esposito supporting him in attack.
The rest of the side will remain unchanged from the XI that started the 1-0 win against Lecce.
Donyell Malen has been instrumental since joining Roma from Aston Villa, scoring four goals in his last six appearances. The forward will lead the attacking line for the visitors.
They remain without the services of Paulo Dybala, Artem Dovbyk and Evan Ferguson who are all sidelined with injury.
Lorenzo Pellegrini is fit and will start as well. There are no other changes expected in the Roma XI.
