Dylan Johnson picks his Premier League gameweek 8 accumulator, with odds sitting at 12.18 for the five-leg multi-bet.
After another long international break, the Premier League is back, and round 8 is looking to be a belter. There are some intriguing match ups this weekend, with a few away-sides valued as the favourites. First up, Nottingham Forest host Chelsea. Last season it would be unthinkable to turn down odds of 4.00 for Forest at home but this is a different team, new manager and they have very little momentum behind them. Chelsea at 1.86 is the way to go.
Brighton host Newcastle next. Both teams have exciting attacking talent and have the ambition to climb up the table. I’m going for BTTS at 1.68. Palace and Bournemouth will play out similarly. Palace have lost one match in their last 19, while Bournemouth have Antoine Semenyo. I’ll also be backing BTTS at 1.72. Going back to basics, picking a home Man City win against Everton at 1.39. Finally to take the accumulator home, I’ll be backing a Liverpool win against the old rivals Man United at Anfield at 1.62.
Premier League Round 8 Accumulator:
Chelsea to beat Nottingham Forest
Brighton vs Newcastle BTTS
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth BTTS
Manchester City to beat Everton
Liverpool to beat Manchester United
Total Odds: 12.18
