Having already been eliminated from AFCON 2025 , Gabon have nothing but pride to play for when they take on Ivory Coast.
The Elephants remain undefeated and are in second place in Group F with four points, level with leaders Cameroon. Gabon’s opening 1-0 loss to Cameroon was followed by a shock 3-2 defeat to Mozambique, sending them packing after a dismal campaign.
Ivory Coast come into the game unbeaten in their last six AFCON matches and are confident they can maintain that streak against eliminated opposition. Manchester United’s Amad Diallo has been the star of the show for the Ivorians, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win against Mozambique and a second in their 1-1 draw with Cameroon.

Alex Moucketou-Moussounda is expected to replace captain Bruno Manga, after the latter had a poor show against Mozambique.
