Arsenal vs Wolves – Premier League matchday 16’s best value

English Premier League leaders Arsenal welcome struggling Wolves to the Emirates as they seek to maintain their lead atop the standings.

It’s literally a battle of the top versus the bottom, with Wolves still seeking a first win of the season after 15 games. With only two points to their name, it’s the worst start to a Premier League campaign as the future of the club confines to remain in question.

They face their toughest test yet when they travel to a high-flying Arsenal who lead the standings with 33 points.

Arsenal are desperate to bounce back after suffering their second defeat of the season, a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa last weekend.

Here we have a look at all key details of the game.

Team news

The Gunners are still without their trusted defensive pair of Gabriel Maghalaes and William Saliba through injury. Piero Hincapie will start as well as Ricardo Calafiori on the left.

Mikel Merino is tipped to start again ahead of Viktor Gyokeres, flanked by Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka. The visiting side are not expected to make any changes to the side that started last weekend.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde got Wolves first goal under their new manager and will lead the line alongside Jurgen Strand Larsen.

Head-to-head and current form

The home side have been superior over Wolves in recent years, winning all of their last five games against them. Arsenal have scored 12 goals in those games, conceding just once.

With the defeat to Villa being their only loss in their last five games, Wolves have lost all their previous five matches.

Prediction

This is expected to be an easy three points for the home team, based both on their current PL form and history between these two sides. Arsenal boast the best defense in the league, conceding just nine goals so far, and are expected to keep a clean sheet here as well.

Arsenal to win and an extra bet for them to win to nil is the best bet in this match.
