Bayern Munich have a six-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga standings as we gear up for an action packed matchday. The Bundesliga has produced more goals than any other top five European league and we can be certain there will be plenty more this weekend.
Here are the best bets ahead of matchday 12.
Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig – Friday, 10:30pm
Leipzig are in second place with 25 points and need a win if they are to keep up with the league leaders. They travel to a Monchengladbach side who have won each of their last five games, lifting them into 12th place with 12 points. Monchengladbach were 1-0 winners last time these two met. Historically, this match does not produce a lot of goals, with only seven goals scored in the last five head-to-head encounters.
Prediction – Leipzig to win or draw @ 1.40 odds

Bayern Munich vs St. Pauli – Saturday, 5:30pm
Bayern are still undefeated in the Bundesliga and have scored a whopping 41 goals in their opening 11 games. No team has scored more goals than Bayern in all of Europe and are expected to add significantly to this tally here. The visiting St. Pauli have lost their last eight league matches and are in 16th place with seven points. After suffering a first defeat of the season, a 3-1 loss to Arsenal, Bayern are poised to bounce back convincingly.
Prediction – Bayern Munich to win + over 2.5 goals @ 1.85 odds

Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Dortmund – Saturday, 8:30pm
Leverkusen will be filled with confidence after their impressive 2-0 away win at Manchester City in the CL in midweek. A win against Dortmund could see them finish the weekend in second place with 26 points. Dortmund, who are in third place a point behind Leverkusen, were also 4-0 winners in midweek against Villarreal. Last season this fixture produced 11 goals over two legs, with each team winning once, away from home.
Prediction – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.60 odds

Freiburg vs Mainz – Sunday, 9:30pm
Mainz are looking to climb out of the relegation zone when they travel to 11th place Freiburg. The visitors have only managed one win this season and have six points after 11 matches. Meanwhile, Freiburg are without a win in their last two games after a 6-2 humiliation by Bayern was followed by a barren draw against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League. Mainz have won only one of their last five games and have not beaten Freiburg in the Bundesliga since 2021.
Prediction – Freiburg to win @ 1.95 odds
