Top five Premier League bets for gameweek 10

Gameweek 9 was another reminder that nothing in the Premier League is guaranteed. With the title race opening up and the battle for relegation honing in on it’s targets, here are the top five betting angles for this weekend’s fixtures from Betway.

Brighton vs Leeds – Brighton win @ 1.84

Brighton are on the back of a disappointing 4-2 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford, but should return to winnings way at home this week. Leeds have secured some impressive results on their return to the Premier League but this may be too tough a challenge at the Amex.

Crystal Palace vs Brentford – Palace win @ 1.94

Expect a tense, physical battle with plenty of set-pieces at Selhurst Park. Palace have had a dip in form recently, and are evenly matched with Brentford, but odds of 1.94 for Oliver Glasner’s side at home may be too good to turn down.

West Ham vs Newcastle – Newcastle win @ 1.64

The Hammers are in a relegation battle, having won just one from their opening nine matches. Newcastle have been inconsistent but appear to be hitting their stride following a midweek win against Spurs in the League Cup.

Manchester City vs Bournemouth – BTTS @ 1.68

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will look to respond to their defeat at Villa Park by ending Bournemouth’s unbeaten streak. The Cherries will give the City defense and midfield little time to breathe and have the talent and patience to hit the hosts hard on the counter attack. A result is tough to call but expect goals from both teams.

Sunderland vs Everton – Draw @ 3.20

Fourth place Sunderland are on a high after a late-winner at Stamford Bridge, while Everton are looking for a response to a 3-0 defeat to Spurs. Sunderland are flying and there is value in betting on the home side with odds of 2.70. Everton have the same odds on Betway. A draw seems fair considering how evenly matched both sides are, it could also be fruitful to take a look at BTTS markets.
