Morocco vs Haiti – World Cup value bet

Morocco are desperate to cement their place in the knockout stages at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup when they take on eliminated Haiti early Thursday morning in Atlanta.

The Atlas Lions are in second place in Group C with four points, level with leaders Brazil after one win and a draw in their two opening games. Their most recent match was a crucial 1-0 win against Scotland.

Ismail Saibari scored in consecutive games to keep their qualification hopes alive as they prepare for their last Group match.

They take on a Haiti side who are bottom of the Group without a point after two defeats in their return to the global showpiece. Haiti returned to the World Cup after a 52-year absence and they have nothing to show for it thus far.

Betting psychology – The mind of a winner

Haiti lost narrowly to Scotland 1-0, before being humiliated by Brazil in a 3-0 defeat which confirmed that they would be the first team eliminated from the competition.

Morocco are keen to replicate their success at the 2022 edition where they lost 2-0 in the semis to France, before losing the third-place play-off against Croatia. With 10 African teams in the competition for the first time in history, the chances of strong representation in the latter stages significantly increase.

Can the North Africans remain unbeaten and book their place in the round of 32, or can Haiti save face and leave the tournament with a point at least? Here is our predicted outcome of the match.

Morocco vs Haiti team news

Morocco do not have the luxury of fully rotating their squad as the job is not yet done, so we can expect plenty of the names we have seen in the two previous games.

Two-goal hero Saibari will retain his spot in the starting XI as he leads the attacking line. Andres Ounahi and Brahim Diaz are likely to be rested here, with young players set to be granted minutes here.

Chemsdine Talbi will finally get his first start in the competition, while Bilal El Khannous is expected to maintain his spot in the starting line-up.

With nothing to play for really for Haiti, they are expected to rotate their squad with the likes of Wilson Isidor and Dominique Simon expected to be relegated to the bench.

Morocco vs Haiti head-to-head and current form

Morocco have not lost in their last seven games, since their controversial AFCON final defeat to Senegal. The Atlas Lions have won five of the nine games played in that period.

Meanwhile, Haiti bring a three-game losing streak into this match. A 4-0 victory against New Zealand in a friendly remains their only win in their last six matches.

This will be the first ever match between these two nations.

Morocco vs Haiti prediction

Haiti have been far from convincing as they made their return to the World Cup, and with the defensive resilience Morocco have shown prior to and during the tournament – they come in as hot favorites to bag all three points here.

Prediction – Morocco to win
